Some of my goals going into 2016 were: ***CORE 4***... 1. BODY- up my fitness, practice what I preach on a daily basis. Be fit physically, spiritually, emotionally and most importantly mentally.
2. MIND- Study daily, read 1 book a month that is inspiring that gets my head spinning with positive and creative ideas. Second part of this was to bring back "Quiet Time" aka Meditation. Life is tough, its stressful, its a grind...Its nice to sit back and control your thoughts and vision into what you want to be and become and meditation was recommended to me by the man who wrote the article below (My fitness mentor and Strength Coach). GAMECHANGER-to say the least
3. RELATIONSHIPS-Be a good Son, Brother, Cousin, Friend, Coach. Be present and active in all of my relationships and never take them for granted.
4. BUSINESS- Love what I do. Be positive and inspire people to be their best daily. Help, guide, motivate, educate people in need and do everything I can possible to get them to where they want to go.
We train our bodies so hard and forget to train the mind... Take a minute and ready this great article on the 6 Phase Meditation and give it a try! Be prepared to have your mind opened and have a great kick start to your "Perfect Day".
I remember being in Pre-K and we would have quiet time where we would all lay on the floor and close our eyes for 15 minutes and I can still feel how much better I felt after at that young age. As I grew older I never had quiet time in class and was never taught to take a step back and slow down and let the mind disconnect from the world and the million things going on in my life. I found the 6-Phase Meditation right before the beginning of this year and I cannot begin to tell you how much it has helped me with taking self inventory of what's going on in my life and where I am heading. Its brought me a crystal clear VISION. The 6 Phase meditation is a great tool and has definitely boosted my morale daily!

There is no right or wrong way to "Meditate" just let your mind go and everything that's supposed to come will come to you.
P.S. I prefer to find a quiet comfortable place and make sure to have headphones so you wont be distracted.
